The Massachusetts State Referee Committee (MSRC) is the state association for the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).
The MSRC is mandated to provide referee training, certification, assessment, and education for soccer officials engaged in youth, adult amateur and professional USSF affiliated matches in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
If you're interested in obtaining your Referee License or would like more information on the basics in becoming a Referee, please visit the following Website for details:

Questions in regard to Junior Referees for U8 girls and boys need to
contact the League's U8 Coordinator Craig Mahoney -
craig.mahoney@fmr.com
|
Mass Youth Soccer now requires all U8 junior referees to carry their
Grade 9 Certification ($90 cost). This certification is required under
their insurance binder and all towns are expected to ensure their refs
which include jr refs at the U8 level to have at least their Grade 9
license.
To help with this requirement, NYSA has approved the following:
As an ongoing investment in our Northbridge soccer player development,
Northbridge Youth Soccer Association will authorize funding where-in any
Northbridge soccer player, under the aged of 16, that wishes to become
USSF Referee Grade 9 Certified, to be fully reimbursed by NYSA, after
confirming successful course completion. Subsequent referee
re-certification expenses will not be covered under this authorization
and will be solely the responsibility of the players and parents."
Steps to register for a course:
1) click on the attached Mass Youth Soccer link:
http://www.mayouthsoccer.org/
2) click on the Referee option under "Programs" tab at the top
3) The courses will be located in the middle of the USSF's site along
with other info that you may think is valuable
