PLAYERS' CODE OF CONDUCT
-
Play for yourself and play to have FUN. Sports are supposed to be FUN.
-
Learn and respect the rules. If you do not understand a call made during a game ask your coach to explain it.
-
Do not argue with or complain about a referee's calls or decisions.
-
If you do not agree with a referee's call or decision then explain it to your coach and let your coach handle it.
-
Do not swear at or taunt your opponents.
-
Show good sportsmanship at all times.
-
Treat your teammates and opponents as you would like to be treated
-
Control your temper. If you feel someone did something wrong to you then you need to resist the temptation to retaliate. If the same thing keeps happening then ask your coach to talk with the referee about it at the appropriate time.
-
Make sure to thank your parents for everything they do for you. They drive you to practices and games, encourage you when you feel bad, come to watch you play, cheer for you and your team, and take care of you when you are hurt. Your parents are your best friends and will always be there for you.
-
Most importantly, have FUN!!!
